Location: Blackpool, Lancashire (Academy)
Salary: £14.24 - £15 per hour (PAYE, Paid to Scale)
Schedule: Wednesday - Friday | 08:30 - 15:30 (Term-Time Only)
Contract: Temporary (April - July 2026 Summer term)

The Role: Supporting Emotional Regulation & Transitions
This isn't just a general classroom role. You will be a vital anchor for Year 4 pupils who require extra guidance with social-emotional mental health (SEMH) and consistency.
A key focus of your day will be managing "bridge moments." You will guide children through school transitions moving between lessons, break times, and assemblies, ensuring they feel safe, regulated, and ready to learn.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Providing high-quality KS2 classroom support alongside the class teacher.
Acting as a 1:1 "side-by-side" aid for pupils during periods of deregulation.
Implementing Nurture UK principles to understand behaviour as communication.
Delivering literacy support within our Read Write Inc. framework.
