GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Manager to join a supportive school in the Tickhill (DN11) area. As a Pastoral Manager, you will work closely with pupils, staff, and families to create a safe, positive, and inclusive school environment where every student can thrive both academically and personally.
Responsibilities as Pastoral Manager:
* Provide pastoral support to students, addressing welfare, attendance, and behavioural concerns.
* Build trusted relationships with pupils to encourage confidence, engagement, and resilience.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support students’ holistic development.
* Monitor attendance and behaviour data, implementing effective interventions where required.
* Promote a safe, nurturing, and respectful learning environment.
Requirements for Pastoral Manager:
* Previous experience in a pastoral, mentoring, or behaviour support role within a school setting.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, families, and staff.
* The ability to remain calm and solution-focused when managing challenging situations.
* A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
