ADHD Assessor Nurse (f2f)
£250 per assessment
Paid via Ltd Company
Gloucestershire
8 - 10 assessments per week (flex)
CAMHS & Adult caseload
Essential Requirements:
* Registered Nurse (NMC) with a valid and active PIN.
* Proven experience in conducting ADHD assessments (adult and/or paediatric).
* Strong knowledge of ADHD diagnostic frameworks (DSM-5 / ICD-11).
* Experience using standardised ADHD assessment tools.
* Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and report-writing skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough, face-to-face ADHD assessments in line with DSM-5/ICD-11 criteria and NICE guidelines.
* Complete detailed clinical interviews, including developmental, educational, and psychosocial histories.
* Utilise and interpret standardised assessment tools and rating scales (e.g. DIVA, ASRS, Conners).
* Gather and review collateral information from family members, schools, or other relevant sources.
* Formulate clear, evidence-based clinical reports and contribute to diagnostic outcomes.
* Provide patients with feedback, psychoeducation, and signposting to appropriate support services.
* Maintain accurate, confidential, and contemporaneous clinical records.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists.
* Ensure all assessments are delivered in line with safeguarding, clinical governance, and professional standards.
