The Role
We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) across KS1 and KS2. You’ll provide 1:1 and small group support, help manage behaviour, and deliver targeted learning activities that inspire confidence and progress.
Responsibilities
• Support pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and social/emotional needs.
• Assist in delivering differentiated lessons and maintaining a positive classroom environment.
• Use effective behaviour management strategies.
• Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to ensure consistent support.
• Foster a caring, inclusive, and inspiring atmosphere.
The Ideal Candidate
• Previous SEN experience in a school setting.
• Confident classroom management skills.
• Relevant qualification (Level 2/3 TA or SEN training) preferred.
• Patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children’s progress.
