Star Actuarial is partnering with a rapidly expanding, specialist financial services Group in the search for a senior modelling professional who is highly experienced with actuarial systems.
Our client, a major writer of BPA, is currently receiving significant global investment so you will be joining the firm during an exciting period of dynamic change and transformation, taking ownership and responsibility for the new pricing and underwriting system.
In this highly visible role, you will lead an agile squad of 6-8 systems professionals, driving transformation and process improvement.
Liaising with the senior product team and Head of Actuarial Modelling, you will utilise your exceptional communication skills to convey a clear and compelling product vision across all stakeholders.
In addition, you will have the chance to work cross-functionally, collaborating with demographic, proposition, data and design teams to ensure the creation of an exceptional product which will add outstanding value to the business.
Organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal and active listening skills, the successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of actuarial concepts e.g. cashflow modelling, present values etc.
Customer-centric and with a thirst for innovation, you will also be adaptable and agile within a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
