We’re looking for a Project Controller to join our Programme Management Office (PMO) team and play a pivotal role in supporting the wholesale business

What you'll do:
* Drive project creation and allocate delivery routes for new initiatives
* Partner with Finance to set funding envelopes and guide projects from approval to initiation
* Support project teams with baselines, scope definition, procurement options, and delivery routes
* Champion continuous improvement, spotting opportunities to enhance performance across the programme
* Maintain data to provide insights and monitoring of projects progress

About you:
* Have a proactive, “get up and go” attitude with the confidence to take ownership and lead tasks forward
* Strong interpersonal skills to engage, influence, and build trusted relationships across teams and stakeholders
* Ability to interpret data, spot trends, and provide insights that strengthen project delivery
* A creative thinker who identifies issues early, raises concerns constructively, and champions smarter ways of working
* Skilled at working with others to develop strategies, while constructively challenging to ensure accuracy and integrity
* Precision in managing baselines, scopes, and processes, ensuring projects are set up for success

What you’ll bring:
* Degree-level education (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline
* Recognised Project Management/Project Controls qualification
* Strong background in Project Controls / Programme Delivery
* Technical expertise in baseline build systems (Primavera P6 and SAP)
* Sharp numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a knack for deep diving
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience in the Utilities/Water sector would be ideal
