AN OUTSTANDING OPPORTUNITY FOR A LABORATORY SUPERVISOR TO LEAD OPERATIONS IN A HAZARDOUS WASTE LABORATORY\n\nTITLE: Laboratory Supervisor - Hazardous Waste Management\n\nSALARY: £30-35K, DOE\nHoliday and Pension Scheme\n\nLOCATION: Cardiff, South East\n\nYOU MAY BE: Laboratory Supervisor, Soil Remediation Specialist, Hazardous Waste Technician\n\nYOU MAY HAVE WORKED IN: Environmental Remediation, Hazardous Waste Management, Soil and Groundwater Remediation, Contaminated Land Assessment, Waste Treatment and Recovery\n\nROLE: Laboratory Supervisor - Hazardous Waste Management\n\nAs a Laboratory Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining efficient operations and driving continuous improvement within the laboratory. you will oversee bench-scale trials and research initiatives focused on contaminated soils and waste. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping full-scale remediation projects, ensuring effective solutions.
This dynamic, hands-on position involves sampling, laboratory and field testing and data analysis.\n\nEXPERIENCE: Laboratory Supervisor - Hazardous Waste Management\n\nA degree in a science-based discipline is preferred, though candidates with A-level qualifications in relevant subjects will also be considered. Previous experience in a laboratory setting is essential, along with a strong understanding of health and safety protocols in laboratory environment.\n\nUKAS, ISO 17025, and ISO 9001 standards expected, with a key role in ensuring compliance.
