A well-established and highly respected manufacturing business is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team in a hands-on, varied role that sits at the heart of operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional who enjoys working cross-functionally and being actively involved with production, warehousing and wider operational teams.
The Role
The business is seeking an individual with strong end-to-end supply chain experience gained within a manufacturing environment, ideally within a smaller or medium-sized organisation where exposure to the full supply chain lifecycle has been part of the role.
There is also a genuine long-term opportunity for progression, with the current Supply Chain Manager openly considering retirement within the next three years, creating a clear succession opportunity for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinating day-to-day supply chain activities to ensure continuity of materials and operational efficiency
Working closely with Production and Warehouse teams to support material availability and resolve supply-related challenges
Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to support informed operational decision-making
Supporting purchasing, inventory control, supplier coordination and supply planning activities
Monitoring stock levels and helping maintain optimum inventory to support customer and production demands
Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure service levels and operational requirements are metKey Requirements
Previous Supply Chain experience within a manufacturing environment is essential
Experience across the full supply chain lifecycle, ideally gained within an SME or smaller operational setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence engaging with stakeholders across Production, Warehouse and Operations teams
Good awareness of Health & Safety within a manufacturing setting
A Supply Chain qualification (or working towards one) would be highly advantageous equivalent significant experience will also be considered
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environmentPackage & Benefits
Salary up to £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
3% annual bonus based on individual and company performance
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays - rising to 28 days with service
