About The Role
We are seeking HGV Drivers to operate our refuse vehicles and lead a team of Refuse Loaders, ensuring health and safety standards are upheld at all times.
You’ll help us to deliver a professional waste and recycling collection service across the Borough of Fareham. You will carry out the removal of household and commercial refuse and recycling from a variety of properties and locations.
While the primary responsibility of this role is driving, the successful candidate may also be required to carry out loading duties on certain days, depending on operational needs. The position involves physical activity, including manual handling and walking. Flexibility is essential, and applicants should be prepared to support colleagues as needed, manage multiple tasks, and respond effectively to changing priorities throughout the day.
About You
Do you hold a full, clean, HGV driving licence?
Are you an early bird, happy to start work at 5.30am? Would you like to be able to help with your family or enjoy some leisure time later in the day?
Are you helpful, polite, approachable with a sense of pride and commitment to do a good job? Do you have a safety focus and happy to work in all weathers?
Then we would love to hear from you.
