Your new role
As Senior Accountant, you will provide professional financial advice and excellent client service to a portfolio of small and medium‑sized owner‑managed businesses. You’ll be responsible for managing deadlines, producing accurate financial outputs, and acting as a trusted advisor.Key Responsibilities
1. Managing and servicing a portfolio of clients
2. Tracking job progress and meeting billing targets
3. Monitoring deadlines to ensure timely delivery
4. Preparing accounts for limitedpanies
5. Preparing corporation taxputations and returns
6. Building strong client relationships
7. Ensuringpliance with financial regulations
8. Using accounting software including IRIS, Sage, DEXT and Xero
9. Delivering high‑quality work on time
10. Responding to client queries promptly
11. Supporting colleagues and trainees with development and technical queries
12. Carrying out additional duties relevant to the role
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be confident,mercially aware and experienced in providing high‑quality accountancy services within a practice environment.Requirements
13. Minimum 5 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
14. AAT qualified or above
15. Experience in self‑assessment work
16. Excellent interpersonal andmunication skills
17. Strong reporting abilities
18. Confident in providing advice and rmendations to clients
19. Proven track record in a similar role
20. Full UK driving licence
