Senior Drainage Engineer / Salary competitive based on experience

We are looking for an experienced Senior Drainage Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, lead-by-example role for someone who takes real pride in their workmanship and ownership of jobs from start to finish.
This position is not suitable for junior or partially experienced engineers. A minimum of 5 years' proven experience is essential.
Essential Experience (Non-Negotiable)
You must have strong, demonstrable experience in:
* CCTV drainage surveys
* Domestic and commercial drain unblocking
* Drain patching and lining
* High-pressure water jetting
* Fault-finding and root cause analysis
Key Responsibilities
* Take full ownership of jobs from diagnosis through to completion
* Handle complex, difficult, or escalated jobs with confidence
* Maintain consistently high workmanship standards
* Carry out accurate assessments and provide clear solutions
* Produce accurate quotations and identify legitimate additional works
* Manage time efficiently to maximise productivity and job flow
* Understand margins, cost control, and commercial impact
Leadership & Behaviour

* Mentor junior engineers and apprentices
* Set the standard for punctuality, presentation, and professionalism
* Lead by example on-site and with customers
* Remain calm and decisive under pressure
