Ob Title: Housing Officer
Location: Brentwood, Essex
Rate: £27.69 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: 3-month ongoing contract
Working pattern: 2–3 days per week in the office
Role Overview We are recruiting an experienced Housing Officer to manage a patch of approximately 400 properties in Brentwood, Essex. This is a hands-on role covering core housing management functions, ideal for a proactive officer who can work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a patch of around 400 properties
Rent arrears management and recovery
Carrying out estate inspections
Completing tenancy audits and visits
Managing tenancy issues including breaches and enforcement
General tenancy management and resident supportKey Requirements
Previous experience working as a Housing Officer or similar
Strong experience in arrears recovery and tenancy management
Ability to manage a large patch effectively
