Job description: Job Overview We are looking for a hands-on Service & Warranty Technician to join our team and support the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of windscreen wiper systems and associated products. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical repair experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to produce clear technical reports. What Youll Do Book in and out returned products using the SAP system and RMA process Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs, refurbishments, and overhauls of returned products Inspect, test, and diagnose returned products to identify faults and troubleshoot issues Prepare detailed, accurate reports on product findings and repair work completed Manage customer returns, providing technical support and clear communication Work closely with the Quality Team to share insights and solutions from product investigations Provide on-site support to customers as required What Were Looking For Proven mechanical and electrical repair experience (essential) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Report-writing skills with high attention to detail Soldering skills (advantageous) Computer literacy, with experience using SAP, Microsoft Word, and Excel Strong organisational and planning abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer and team interactions Flexible, proactive, and able to stay calm under pressure A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, diverse environment
