As the Marketing Campaign Manager (EMEA), you will take strategic ownership of campaign planning and execution across the region, leading efforts to drive demand and lead generation for SANS live training events. In this expanded leadership role, you will manage the Marketing Campaign Coordinator and oversee campaign performance, budgets, and alignment with regional and global objectives. You will collaborate closely with both the EMEA Field Marketing team and Central Marketing to evaluate, adapt, and roll out campaigns tailored for the EMEA audience. This role requires strong stakeholder management, budget oversight, and the ability to think strategically about campaign impact across diverse markets.
Responsibilities
* Strategic & Operational Leadership
o Lead the planning, development, and execution of high‑impact integrated marketing campaigns to support orders, revenue, and pipeline goals in the EMEA region.
o Assess and adapt Central Marketing campaign initiatives to ensure relevance and effectiveness for EMEA markets.
o Proactively develop and launch regionally tailored campaigns in collaboration with the broader EMEA Marketing team.
o Own and manage campaign budgets, ensuring spend aligns with performance targets and delivering return on investment.
o Monitor and report on campaign performance, identifying patterns, discrepancies, and insights to optimise outcomes.
o Prepare and deliver campaign results, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
o Own and manage the live event experience marketing efforts, working closely with the Operations team to improve the overall SANS training experience for students.
* Team Management
o Manage and support the Marketing Campaign Coordinator, providing clear direction and partnering on EMEA‑focused campaigns.
o Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration across Field Marketing, Global Demand Generation, Live Events, and Operations teams.
* Stakeholder & Internal Collaboration
o Serve as a key contact for campaign‑related communication with internal and external stakeholders.
o Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior leadership, regional teams, and global marketing colleagues.
o Work closely with the Marketing Director EMEA for campaign approvals, budget sign‑off, and strategic alignment.
* Brand & Quality Assurance
o Ensure all campaign messaging and materials are brand‑compliant and reflect the high standards of SANS Institute.
o Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying ways to enhance campaign effectiveness and team efficiency.
Qualifications
* Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
* Proven experience in planning, developing, and executing integrated campaigns within a regional or global context.
* Demonstrated ability to drive demand generation and meet pipeline and revenue targets.
* Experience managing marketing budgets, monitoring spends against performance targets, and reporting ROI.
* Track record of campaign performance analysis, data interpretation, and insight‑driven optimisation.
* Experience managing direct reports (e.g., Marketing Campaign Coordinator) and providing clear guidance and development support.
* Experience working cross‑functionally with Field Marketing, Demand Generation, Live Events, and Operations teams.
* Strong strategic and analytical skills – able to assess campaign effectiveness and align initiatives to regional business goals.
* Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills across multiple regions and functions.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
* High proficiency in marketing performance reporting and analysis.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, particularly for delivering campaign insights to senior stakeholders.
* Strong attention to detail to ensure brand consistency and campaign quality.
