Care Assistant - Fife Health and Social Care Partnership
An exciting opportunity has arisen for caring, compassionate, and enthusiastic individuals to join our care at home teams in the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership, North East Fife Locality.

* Travel across the wider Fife area is required. A vehicle may be provided, but if you use your own vehicle, travel expenses will be paid at 45p per mile.

The Person
* Caring, compassionate, motivated, with good values and a genuine interest in providing quality care and support.
* Ability to build effective working relationships with service users and their families.
* Ability to work with other Council services and partner agencies to support effective planning and delivery of care.
* Knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social Care Standards and ability to apply them.
* Hold or work towards SVQ 2 as required by the Scottish Social Services Council within the specified timeframe. Once qualified, it is your responsibility to inform the SSSC promptly.
* You must register with the SSSC within 6 months of employment and complete the required Post Registration Training and Learning (PRTL) during the first registration period. Notify the SSSC of any changes to personal or work details promptly.
Note: This role requires SSSC registration. The successful applicant has three months to apply for registration. You should start your application as soon as possible to ensure registration within six months. More details are in the role profile.
Additional requirement: You will need to obtain PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland before confirming your appointment and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
