Location and Salary

* Salary: £60,000 + quarterly bonus*
* Location: Brighton or Remote (UK only)

Responsibilities

You will be part of a team delivering key client projects for our clients in the UK, Northern Europe and North America. Your responsibilities include delivering the work you are personally assigned, building trusted relationships with clients, solving problems, scoping projects and delivering them either on your own or as the lead in a small team.

Key activities include:

* Project Delivery: Deliver analytics and data engineering projects, configure and implement cloud and database infrastructure, transform and model data, develop dashboards and visualisations, test data quality, apply Agile scrum/kanban, and monitor/optimise development workloads.
* Architecting: Document business logic and data definitions, design data flows and data models.
* Mentoring: Guide junior analytics and data engineers.
* Knowledge: Obtain developer certifications for Looker, dbt, Segment and other modern data stack tools; work towards Google Cloud Data Engineer certification; stay updated with new technologies.
* Collaboration: Work with the CEO and Head of Delivery to align analytics with business goals.


What We're Looking For

Must Haves

* Real-world experience with Google Cloud and modern data stack tools (dbt, Looker, Fivetran, BigQuery and/or Snowflake)
* Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical skills; attention to detail
* Excellent SQL, data modelling, cloud data warehousing and database design
* Familiarity with software development methods (Git, CI/CD) in an analytics context
* Desire to work in a consulting role and ability to manage multiple engagements
* Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at varying levels of technical maturity
* Located in the UK, ideally Southern England, London, Home Counties

Nice to Haves

* Interest in both commercial and technical aspects of consultancy and client growth
