Are you ready to take the lead in delivering high-quality security installation projects? Were looking for a proactive and commercially minded Small Works Manager to join our Security Division. This hybrid role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 £45,000 per annum, plus commission and car allowance, with travel across Gillingham, London, and the South East.
As part of a full-time, permanent contract, you'll play a key role in managing small-scale security projects from start to finish, ensuring they're delivered safely, profitably, and to our NSI Gold standards.
What you will be doing
* Managing the delivery of small installations, upgrades, and remedial works (typically £1,000-£50,000 in value).
* Ensuring all projects meet quality, safety, and compliance standards (NCP 104, NCP 109, BS EN 62676, etc.).
* Preparing quotations, estimating labour and materials, and overseeing project documentation.
* Taking ownership of the small works departments P&L performance and ensuring profit margins are met.
* Coordinating engineering resources and supporting site engineers with technical guidance.
* Conducting site visits and surveys to validate scope and workmanship.
* Managing multiple concurrent projects across various client sites.
* Supporting our reputation for technical excellence and outstanding customer service.
Who we are looking for
Were seeking a confident and experienced project manager with a strong background in security systems and small works delivery. Youll thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable juggling multiple projects while maintaining high standards.
Ideal candidates will have:
* Proven experience in managing small-scale security installations.
* Strong technical knowledge of security systems and relevant standards.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and margins.
* A collaborative approach to working with engineering and service teams.
* A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South East.
