This is a superb opportunity to take leadership of a celebrated kitchen within an intimate hotel of just over a dozen bedrooms, located in the breathtaking Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. The boutique scale of the property ensures a focus on quality over quantity, allowing for true culinary excellence. The Role & Opportunity
You will take the helm of an intimate 38-cover restaurant, where a spectacular view is part of every service. This is a role for a chef who thrives on autonomy and wants to work with an exceptional local larder.
Key responsibilities include:
* Championing a philosophy of hyper-local sourcing, featuring trout caught daily from the lake and game sourced from the neighbouring estate.
* Designing and executing innovative menus that showcase the best of Scotland's natural bounty, evolving with the seasons and delighting a discerning clientele.
* Leading and inspiring the kitchen team, ensuring the consistently high ratings for food quality are maintained and elevated.
* Overseeing the complete dining experience across the property, including the intimate bar with its open fireplace.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
This role requires a dedicated culinary professional with a passion for quality and strong leadership skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A proven track record as a Head Chef, or a high-performing Sous Chef ready for their next step up the career ladder.
* Deep expertise and creative flair in modern British/Scottish cuisine.
* A genuine, deeply held passion for local sourcing and seasonal ingredients, with a particular love for fresh fish and game.
* Confident leadership skills, capable of managing all aspects of a luxury hotel kitchen while consistently contributing to high guest satisfaction.
