National Account Manager – Sainsbury’s & Waitrose

Hybrid – 2 days per week in Henley-on-Thames

Up to £60,000 + 12% bonus + benefits

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, purpose-driven food brand that’s well known for its playful tone, strong values, and certified B-Corp status. As part of their continued UK retail growth, we’re looking for a National Account Manager to take ownership of two of their most strategically important customers – Sainsbury’s and Waitrose – with responsibility for a £12m P&L.

This is a hands-on, commercially focused role that would suit someone who thrives in a smaller, values-led business with strong leadership, a collaborative culture, and big ambitions to do good while growing fast.

Key Responsibilities:

* Own the day-to-day management of Sainsbury’s and Waitrose
* Lead joint business planning, promotional strategy, forecasting, and performance tracking
* Manage the full P&L – ensuring delivery of volume, revenue, and margin targets
* Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, brand, insights, and NPD teams
* Build deep, strategic relationships across both customers – buying, supply, and category
* Identify and unlock opportunities to drive growth, visibility, and shopper engagement

Qualifications:

* Previous experience managing Top 4 Grocery accounts (Sainsbury’s and/or Waitrose ideal)
* Full P&L ownership and confident managing JBPs and promotional planning
* Experience working in a challenger brand or fast-paced SME environment preferred
* Strong analytical mindset – comfortable working with forecasts, data, and performance KPIs
* Team-oriented, values-led, and excited by the opportunity to make a real impact
* Interest in purpose-driven business and B-Corp principles is highly desirable
