We are actively looking to appoint a Branch/Yard Assistant to join the team in our Longtown branch. If you are a hardworking, flexible individual who can work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service, this may be the perfect opportunity for you!
Your job
This role involves:
* Providing customers with product and service information
* Pick customer orders accurately
* Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck
* Process orders accurately, within a time dictated by the customer deadline
* Serve customers on the trade counter when required
* Customer interaction
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Required:
* Excellent communication skills and some customer service skills
* Literacy & Numeracy
* A hardworking & helpful individual to train in all aspects of our operation
* An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
* Forklift truck licence
Desirable:
* Warehouse experience
* A good knowledge of computers
