We are offering an exciting opportunity to become a Personal Assistant to a university student studying Sport and Exercise Science at Southampton Solent.
Salary, Benefits & Hours
* Rate of Pay: £180 per day / £1,260 per week
* Rota: Live-in - 7 days on / 7 days off
* Location: Southampton Solent University, SO14 0YN
* Start Date: End of April/May 2025
* Free accommodation when on shift
* 5.6 weeks holiday pro-rata
About the Client
The client has Cerebral Palsy affecting her entire body. She is a sports enthusiast, especially in disability sports like Boccia, and is a passionate Arsenal fan who enjoys attending matches. She is also interested in social activities, music, and spending time with family and friends. The role involves driving her wheelchair accessible vehicle, so a UK Driving Licence is required. Accommodation includes a flatmate-style environment, with social and leisure activities beyond care duties.
Role Responsibilities
* Personal care, study, and social support
* Report issues and coordinate with the team
* Assist with administration tasks
* Support emergency evacuations if needed
* Encourage participation in clubs and activities
* Maintain good order, appearance, and behaviour
* Help organize events and extracurricular activities
The specific duties will be tailored to the successful candidate’s skills and interests.
Candidate Profile
