Job Description
We are looking for a Payroll Officer to cover maternity leave on a temporary basis for up to 12-months. You will be based at our Pembridge site in Herefordshire working 39-hours per week. This role can also be based at our Castleblayney site in Ireland.
We are looking for the successful candidate to join us from August onwards, to ensure there is a sufficient handover period.
As the Payroll Officer you will be provide effective payroll support delivering a high level of service and operational advice consistent with Company and legal requirements. You must have experience of running payrolls, with good knowledge of Irish Employment Law and Payroll legislation.
Responsibilities of our Payroll Officer – Maternity Cover
1. Provide an effective and dedicated payroll administrative service to KIL across Ireland and the UK.
2. Provide an advisory service to employees ensuring that they are fully aware of ROI rights and entitlements
3. Run allocated payrolls, creating journals and liaising with Accounts as necessary to effect payment to employees. To include month end duties and all associated paperwork to Ireland Revenue & HMRC standards and regulations seeking assistance from the Senior Payroll Officer as necessary.
