Job summary
The main purpose of the Finance Director is to provide strategicleadership and long-term planning of the business in respect of financialperformance management and commercial development of the Company. This alsoincludes the Digital/IT strategy development and implementation and drivingchange across the business. This is a Board level appointment with the CompanyDirector responsibilities.
Main duties of the job
General Functions:
* Be responsible for the development of financial systems and the reporting structure and production of management accounting systems with the aim of providing a standard format to the Board
* Oversee contract management, contract management and commercial development with the aim of increasing revenue growth and profitability which can be injected back into the business for the benefit of patients and shareholders
* Provide recommendations to the Board of the staffing structure and systems required to deliver the companys financial, performance and IT strategy

* As an Executive Director and member of the board, overall responsibility for finance function operations, including production of timely management accounts for Board and management meetings, interim and year end statements.
* People management and their development responsibility for finance, IT and Reporting Teams.
* The provision of financial analysis for business decision making and setting of financial policy around investment and commercial commitments in conjunction with the MD.
* Produce creative financial models to facilitate commercial development and business improvement
* Produce annual budget and quarterly variance analysis reports for board meetings with detail explanation of variance
* Ensuring effective financial governance in terms of procedures, protocols and processes.
* Provide financial information to inform HR policy in relation to remuneration, workforce planning and other people resource areas
