Job ref: QAPCO240226 Job type: Permanent Location: Newry Closing date: Tuesday 03 Mar 2026 13:00 Job Overview The QA Packaging Compliance Officer is involved in primarily all Packaging line related Quality queries. They are primarily involved in the Quality checks and routine monitoring of the set-up, operation and compliance of all packaging line operations from a Quality perspective. The position will be heavily involved in the reduction/minimisation of any errors and ensuring compliance on all line operations. The QA Compliance officer will work closely and in conjunction with the existing Production packaging line staff, change control staff and existing QA personnel to ensure the materials being packed are compliant and according to the specification requirements. The role will provide an independent QA oversight on packaging operations to improve efficiencies, reduce errors and ensure GMP compliance. This role will involve working a 3-shift pattern to include days, evenings and night shifts. Main Activities/Tasks Provision of QA oversight and responsibility for packaging line Quality compliance Provision of a central responsible Quality contract for all Packaging line operators. Provision of an immediate Quality support to existing QA/packaging line staff on daily issues. Quality checks and routine monitoring of the set-up, operation and compliance of all packaging line operations from a Quality perspective Reduction/minimisation of any errors and ensuring any errors compliance on all line operations Any other duties as deemed necessary by management Essential Criteria: The successful candidate should be educated to a minimum of GCSE level standard [or equivalent]. Excellent IT skills, including practical experience in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word. Possess excellent organisational, planning, motivational and communication skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Flexible to work shift patterns (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am) Strong computer skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with the ability to generate reports Desirable Criteria: Previous experience working within a GMP environment Duration: Permanent Location: Newry Additional Information: Applicants should be able to provide proof that they have a right to work in the UK at the time of their application.
