Department: Comparison Shopping Service (CSS) Partnerships team

Location: Remote with occasional travel to Cambridge office and London

Salary Range: £35,000 - £38,000

As part of Genie Ventures - Best Team in Performance Marketing 2025 and Great Places to Work 2024-25, Genie Shopping is looking for our next Sales Managers to drive our new client growth and expansion into Europe including France and Italy.



As a Sales Manager your goal is to speak to some of the biggest brands in Europe and get them working on Google shopping campaigns with Genie Shopping.


A fluent / native-level French or Italiain speaker is required.



You join the client-facing part of Genie Shopping in the Partnerships team, who operate in a collaborative, remote environment where we’re striving to be one of the highest performing teams in performance marketing.



Genie Shopping one of Europe’s leading CSSs, running Google Shopping campaigns on a CPA basis through the Affiliate Channel.



We currently partner with some of Europe’s leading retailers such as eBay, Currys, Boots, Lookfantastic, Samsung, Philips, B&Q and more.



Over the last 12 months, Genie Shopping has entered a new phase of growth, generating over £500million in sales, and growing 100% YoY in terms of Gross Profit. Our goal is to continue to grow and expand into Europe, and this role is pivotal in doing so.



The team is remotely based, but has fluidity in meeting in-person for client meetings, industry events, strategy days and team socials. There are requirements to travel on average twice a month, with an expectation to travel to Europe on a monthly basis, alongside UK meetups in the likes of Cambridge/London for both team days/events/socials and meetings & events.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:


Sales & Partnerships

Sell our services to prospective CPA/Affiliate clients to achieve our new business growth target numbers in France or Italy

Proactively increase the sales pipeline, finding and sourcing new leads

Manage the sales pipeline process through Salesforce

Fully comprehend and be able to advise potential clients on technical implementation, strategic approach and growth opportunities through Genie Shopping CPA/Affiliate service

Proactively manage and prioritise your workload to achieve sales targets and activity based KPIs

Help plan and organise industry events to help diversify the sales pipeline

Work with the Head of Partnerships to identify priority new client segments to achieve Genie Shopping’s growth goals


Industry Profile & Network

Grow your industry presence and network

Research, attend and feedback industry events across France and Europe

Attend industry events and networking opportunities to actively promote and be an excellent ambassador for Genie Shopping

Build out your LinkedIN / Personal profile as an industry expert in CSS

Regular thought leadership content to your pipeline and network



Team Player

Leverage the team’s expert knowledge of Google Shopping CSS services to win new clients

Help support wider Partnerships team in key periods with client response support via support channel

Support in strategic projects and initiatives with large clients

Play a key role in cross-team projects aimed at achieving Genie Shopping OKRs

Support and mentor other team members



Be a Genie

Build relationships and knowledge within the entire team at Genie Ventures



EXPERIENCE:

* 2-3 years experience in the digital e-commerce industry ( affiliate, publisher, agency or network or SAAS)
* Experience in digital marketing & e-commerce performance metrics and KPIs Experience in managing client communication and tasks in structured way (within a CRM preferable)
* Experience in developing client partnerships, pitching commercial ideas, forecasts and initiatives
* Experience in Affiliate Marketing Networks
* Experience in working with large e-commerce clients and technical stakeholders Experience in dealing with multiple client demands & priorities
* Experience in using business intelligence dashboards to discover and explain insights Experience in marketing dashboards to discover and explain insights Experience in succeeding in a remote working environment


SKILLS:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong Excel/Spreadsheet skills
* Knowledge of CRM (ideally Salesforce)
* Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills Ability to use AI to learn and enhance day-to-day tasks (emails, meeting notes, proposals)
