What You Will Do
The Regional Sales Consultant focuses on selling solutions to drive installation and service revenue growth within the Tyco business unit. Responsibilities include developing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, surveying sites, preparing costs, specifications, and quotations that meet customer needs. For large or complex proposals, support will be provided by an Estimator or Technical Bid Manager through a bid team. All activities are managed via Salesforce.com. The key objectives are pipeline growth and increasing conversion rates to meet sales targets.
How You Will Do It
* Lead Management: Generate leads through business development activities, qualify leads, and collaborate across channels.
* Account/Territory Planning: Identify target accounts and define SMART objectives.
* Opportunity Planning: Qualify opportunities, form bid teams, and define strategies.
* Survey, Configure, Price, Quote: Conduct site surveys and prepare proposals.
* AMR Opportunities: Pursue new and existing contracts, and retain current customers.
* Presentations: Deliver technical and bid presentations.
* Opportunity Management: Manage sales pipeline proactively, record activities, and plan next steps.
* Sales & Negotiation Skills: Develop through coaching and experience.
* CRM Management: Use Salesforce.com for sales activities and performance tracking.
* Performance Planning: Prepare monthly success plans and review sales performance.
* Product/Technical Knowledge: Maintain and develop expertise through ongoing training.
* Risk Management: Ensure compliance with internal processes, legal requirements, and safety policies including Zero Harm.
