Job description Overview My Redditch based client is seeking a skilled Power Press Setter Operator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate must be capable to change and set a range of press tools. Responsibilities * Operate and maintain power press machinery, (Mechanical & or Hyraulic/Pneumatic) * Must have the ability to read and understand engineering, tooling component drawings. * Previous experience of setting and Operating Power Presses. * Ability to book manufactured components & inspection data onto paperwork supplied. * Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications * Proven experience as a Power Press Setter/ Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. * Familiarity with tooling and fabrication processes is advantageous. * Competence in using hand tools and measuring instruments accurately. * Basic maths skills are essential for performing calculations related to production tasks. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
