Role Summary

To facilitate, assist, and deliver staff training programs, ranging from de-escalation techniques to physical intervention methods. To promote the use of appropriate techniques in managing challenging behaviour and restraint in the Trust. To assist with data collection, evaluation, course administration, and clerical duties related to workforce and statutory requirements. To work closely with and support the operational security team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed team to develop and deliver a Physical Intervention Training programme in both Acute and Community settings, as well as supporting staff in building packages of care for service users with challenging behaviour.

The successful applicant must be a GSA Accredited Grade A Tutor with clinical experience to ensure high standards focused on service users. A valid driving licence is also required. Please include these details in your supporting information.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00.
