We are working with a well-established, UK-based power solutions business specialising in generator hire and sustainable energy solutions. Operating across sectors including construction, infrastructure, utilities, and electrical contracting, the company has built a strong reputation for reliability, quality, and customer service.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a growing service team. You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of diesel generators across customer sites and the company’s rental fleet. The role is customer-facing and requires strong technical capability alongside a professional and approachable manner.

Skills & Experience Required
6. Relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Diesel Fitting, or Plant Maintenance (e.g. City & Guilds, BTEC), or
7. Completion of a recognised mechanical or electrical apprenticeship
8. Proven experience servicing and repairing diesel generator sets
9. Experience with brands such as FG Wilson, Cummins, or similar is essential
10. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
11. Previous field service experience (preferred)
12. Full UK driving licence
13. Customer-focused with strong communication skills
14. Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
15. ECS/CSCS or CCNSG card desirable (training can be provided)
