Job Overview Staffpower Group are delighted to be working with our client who are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker/Packer to join their warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols. Duties Accurately pick orders based on customer requests and packing lists. Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit. Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling of materials. Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and order statuses. Conduct quality control checks to ensure all items meet company standards before shipment. Maintain a clean and organised workspace within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency in the picking process. Skills Experience in picking and packing processes within a warehouse setting. Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures is advantageous. Skills in load unloading techniques to ensure safe handling of products. Knowledge of quality control measures in a warehouse context. Competence in materials handling practices to ensure safety and efficiency.
