Engineering Coordinator, you’ll manage the planning, administration, and communication that support our engineering operations. From maintenance scheduling and spare part tracking to compliance documentation and contractor coordination — you’ll be the link that connects the team and keeps everything moving.
This is a central support role for someone who thrives on structure, process, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Support and Planning
* Schedule preventative maintenance and coordinate engineer workloads
* Track outstanding work orders and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
* Support the Engineering Manager with resource planning, KPIs, and priorities
Inventory and Spare Parts
* Monitor engineering stock levels and reorder critical parts as required
* Maintain accurate records of parts usage, orders, and deliveries
* Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely availability of components
Documentation and Compliance
* Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance logs, equipment histories, and service reports
* Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits
* Track compliance with safety protocols and inspection schedules
Contractor and External Coordination
* Support the booking, onboarding, and supervision of engineering contractors
* Ensure contractors meet site health and safety and compliance requirements
Requirements
* Experience in engineering admin, maintenance coordination, or technical planning
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Good working knowledge of Excel, stock systems, and CMMS or maintenance software
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment
* Clear communication skills and ability to liaise with both engineers and suppliers
