Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist - Echo
Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Cardio‑Respiratory Department at Chesterfield Royal Hospital for a Band 7 Highly Specialised Cardiac Physiologist (Echocardiography). The role will predominantly be specialised in echocardiography and candidates should possess BSE accreditation. Candidates wishing to maintain their skills in other cardiac physiology services are encouraged.
Increasing opportunities are available to collaborate with specialist services such as paediatrics and cardio‑oncology. The service utilises GE ultrasound machines with a new echo reporting system (GE‑CCW/EchoPac). The successful candidate will be expected to work between the main department at Chesterfield Royal Hospital and the brand new, purpose‑built local Community Diagnostic Centre at Walton Hospital. The department is soon to commence its journey in becoming IQUIPS accredited, and we would be delighted for a forward‑thinking physiologist to join our team and play a key role in driving both this and clinical developments forwards.

* Work closely with the clinical service manager to deliver on local and national objectives.
