Area: South Wales - Cardiff Swansea Newport
The role of Technical Sales Manager
* The successful Technical Sales Manager will manage and develop around 300 active accounts with an area turnover of £1.2M
* 70% of your time selling fluid system components, values, temperature / pressure control gauges and other components into process end-users within oil refineries, aerospace, defence MOD, food manufacturing and water treatment
* 30% of your time selling into OEM's and MRO's
* The successful Technical Sales Manager will converse with technicians, process operators, through to middle management and C-suite decision makers

* This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a mechanical engineering bias with strong pre‑existing customer relationships in place

The Candidate
* Experience selling mechanical engineering products such as valves, pumps, flow control, pressure gauges, temperature control, industrial weighing, measurement or components that are used on assembly / process lines.
* Experience selling into process end‑users is advantageous i.e. food manufacturing, MOD, water treatment, aerospace etc
* Our client will consider sales candidates with a MECHANICAL ENGINEERING background for example a sales person with a Mechanical Engineering HNC
The Package
* Up to £60,000 basic
* OTE £10-£20k year 1 (1.5% of sales uncapped)
