Mixed Tax Manager - Bolton
Clark Wood have been instructed on an exceptionally rare opportunity, which offers the chance for an experienced Tax Manager to join one of the region's accountancy & tax firms, based in Bolton, Greater Manchester.
The main purpose of the role is to lead and develop the firm's Bolton tax offering whilst maintaining a significant existing client portfolio. The type of work undertaken by the Team includes complex Fleming private client & business tax work for an interesting client base; tax enquiry work; providing tax advisory support to HNWIs, trusts, family wealth; corporate and property transactions; and advising on business restructures.
Responsibilities
* Provide high level advisory and planning services to a large existing portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients focusing on SMEs, OMBs, groups, partnerships & HNWIs.
* Business development and networking: develop client services and grow the tax portfolio.
* Increase awareness & exposure of the firm’s tax services.
Commutable distances from Bolton include Bury, Wigan, Preston, Chorley, Manchester, Blackburn, etc.
Qualifications
* CTA and/or ACCA/ACA qualified.
* Relevant experience of IHT and CGT planning, advising on residence and domicile.
* Proven track record of business development.
