Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Manager to ensure our services meet and exceed the standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and local authorities.
Responsibilities
* Lead on all aspects of CQC compliance and regulatory requirements.
* Carry out internal audits, quality assurance checks, and risk assessments.
* Develop and monitor policies, procedures, and best practice guidance.
* Oversee and maintain staff training, records, and competency frameworks.
* Support the Registered Manager in preparing for inspections, reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
* Investigate and resolve compliance issues, ensuring robust action plans are implemented.
* Foster a culture of quality, safety, and accountability within the care team.
About You
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about raising standards in care.
Essential
* Proven experience in a compliance, quality, or auditing role within health & social care.
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, MCA, DOLS, and safeguarding.
* NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (minimum); Level 5 preferred.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and report-writing skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.
Desirable
* Experience within domiciliary care or supported living services.
* Previous involvement in CQC inspections.
* Knowledge of digital compliance systems.
