About the Role
As a Sales Specialist Manager, you will champion best‑in‑class selling practices, strengthen client relationships, and deliver product‑focused solutions that enable customers to achieve meaningful business outcomes. You’ll lead strategic projects, educate commercial teams on new offerings, and activate go‑to‑market programs that fuel revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership
* Lead strategy, production, training, and delivery of Sales Plays for your assigned sector.
* Develop and execute sector‑specific business plans, ensuring operational excellence.
Customer & Market Insight
* Conduct deep‑dive analysis to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
* Identify revenue and growth opportunities, shaping proposals that maximize commercial impact.
Commercial Execution
* Drive sales across a targeted customer portfolio, partnering with specialist managers and industry leaders to pitch high‑value opportunities.
* Build and scale high‑impact sales strategies, including objection handling, consultative selling, and pitching for incremental investment.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with analytics, design, measurement, sponsorship, and creative teams to deliver integrated, multi‑product solutions.
* Craft and facilitate customer workshops, presentations, and strategic planning sessions.
Product & Market Enablement
* Educate sales teams on new products, betas, and competitive insights.
* Advocate for customer needs by providing structured, actionable product feedback that informs internal roadmaps.
Stakeholder Management
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, aligning efforts to achieve shared objectives.
* Influence senior partners and cross‑functional teams through data‑driven insights and clear strategic direction.
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong expertise in sales and partnership strategy
* Proven experience in data-driven analysis & reporting
* Skilled in opportunity and pipeline management
* Excellent consultative selling and customer‑facing communication skills
* Ability to lead through influence, offering situational leadership when collaborating with cross‑functional teams
* Strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and customer behaviours
* Experience in operations management, workflow optimization, or revenue hygiene
* Ability to craft compelling business cases and strategic sales narratives
