Job Description
Responsibilities for the Senior Sustaining Engineer include:
1. Lead sustaining engineering activities for gas‑combustion heating systems.
2. Investigate and resolve complex product issues while ensuring safety and reliability.
3. Implement performance enhancements, cost‑reduction initiatives, and product improvements.
4. Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and service teams on engineering changes.
5. Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations.
6. Support root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action implementation for field and production issues.
7. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge‑sharing efforts.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Sustaining Engineer should have:
8. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
9. At least 8 years of engineering experience, including 5+ years working with combustion systems.
10. Strong background in sustaining engineering for mechanical or electromechanical products.
11. Knowledge of heating‑industry standards and regulatory requirements.
12. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
13. Experience with combustion system troubleshooting, certification processes, lean principles, heat pumps or refrigeration systems, or PLC programming is a plus.
