Duration - 2 Month Project
Responsibilities:
1. Address refreshes in order as per the sheet; if the user is unavailable, move to the next, check back later, and record if user is not available.
2. Disconnect and remove hardware, place on trolley or agreed point for later transport to storage for decommissioning.
3. Record removed Asset details on laptops as per the agreed document.
4. Install and connect new device to monitor, power, LAN, etc.
5. Record new Asset details on laptops as per the agreed document.
6. Power up the device, enter BIOS for checks, then reboot to logon screen.
7. Assist users with Auto-pilot imaging if needed; reimaging may take 1.5-2 hours or longer depending on site bandwidth and number of devices.
8. Revisit each user to ensure progress and address issues.
9. Transport old devices to storeroom, stack as designated, and coordinate disposal.
10. Send closure sheet at end of day with status; follow-up on devices not completed.
11. Attend a 5-day Hypercare period to address any issues arising from the refresh.
