Position: First Line Manager
Location: Stoke On Trent - ST4 4EX
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: Any 5 out of 7.
Shift Times: Nights, 2200 - 0600.
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a First Line Manager - Warehouse to play a vital role in coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
* Managing performance of areas within the business
* Reviewing resourcing levels to meet business needs
* Monitoring KPIs and SLAs
* Following company policies and procedures
* Responsible for a team of up to 25
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
* Experience in a similar role
* People management skills
* Computer literacy
* Analytically minded
* Great communication skills
A recognised qualification in supply chain management or logistics will be well received.
