About MOKE
MOKE is on a mission to manufacture iconic, sustainable, and beautifully British made vehicles that inspire joy, adventure, and connection to the environment, blending timeless beachside charm with modern innovation, redefining the electric driving experience. Designed in the early 1960s by Sir Alec Issigonis, the father of the Austin Mini, the Mini MOKE quickly gained cult status in the French Riviera, Australia, and the Caribbean. James Bond and Brigitte Bardot were both early converts. Having acquired the original ‘MOKE’ trademark and over 100 other related marks globally, in 2021 MOKE recommenced production in the UK. Over 500 new generation MOKEs have been built to date. In 2022 we were the first heritage automotive brand to go 100% Electric. In 2023, we were the first EV with no roof and no doors to achieve homologation in both Europe and America, with street legal MOKEs now being sold across the Caribbean, Europe, the USA and beyond. Our vision is to be the world's most adored and adventurous premium open-air motoring brand.
Purpose of the Role
We’re looking for a high-calibre MP&L Analyst to join our growing team and play a key role in scaling production. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-moving automotive OEM at a pivotal stage in its growth — where you’ll have genuine influence over systems, processes, and supplier performance.
You’ll sit at the heart of our Manufacturing, Planning & Logistics (MP&L) function, bridging supply chain planning, materials control, and procurement. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, thrive in a hands-on environment, and be comfortable moving between tactical problem-solving and strategic development work.
Key Responsibilities
Material Planning & Logistics
• Own material availability for assigned commodities — ensuring 100% on-time supply to production.
• Maintain and optimise MRP parameters (lead times, reorder points, safety stocks).
• Build and manage short- and medium-term production material plans aligned with build schedules.
• Track and report key MP&L KPIs — inventory turns, supplier OTIF, shortages, logistics cost, and material coverage.
• Support warehouse and logistics flow optimisation during new model launch.
Procurement & Supplier Management
• Manage purchase orders, supplier schedules, and pricing updates within ERP/MRP system.
• Support commercial negotiations with key suppliers to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Drive supplier readiness for new product launch — from tooling and PPAP through to SOP.
• Contribute to cost-down initiatives and support long-term supplier sourcing strategy.
Launch & Scale-Up Delivery
• Lead MP&L workstreams during NPI (New Product Introduction) — materials readiness, BoM accuracy, part tracking, and logistics planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Quality) to ensure seamless transition from prototype to series build.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks rapidly in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
Continuous Improvement
• Develop data-driven tools and dashboards for visibility of supply and demand.
• Support implementation of new systems and lean material flow processes.
• Champion continuous improvement and scalability of MP&L processes as production volumes grow.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
• 5+ years’ experience in automotive MP&L, supply chain, or procurement.
• Proven experience delivering a new vehicle or major component launch into production.
• Strong grasp of MRP/ERP systems, BoMs, and inventory control principles.
• Hands-on, proactive mindset with a bias for action in a dynamic, resource-constrained environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management — able to work cross-functionally under pressure.
• Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving, with strong Excel and data-modelling capability.
Desirable
• 10–15 years’ total experience in automotive operations or supply chain.
• Experience within a scale-up or niche OEM environment, ideally electric vehicle or low-volume manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lean / TPS principles and logistics optimisation.
• Exposure to supplier development, international sourcing, or cost-down programmes.
Personal Attributes
• Thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving organisation.
• Rolls up sleeves and gets involved at the ground level.
• Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and passionate about operational excellence.
• Natural team player who builds strong relationships across functions and suppliers.
• ≥5% annual productivity improvement
If you’re passionate about manufacturing, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to play a key role in the growth of a British automotive brand, we’d love to hear from you.
