Support Worker Needed – Sundays (11am–2pm)

We are currently recruiting an experienced and reliable Support Worker to work with a 10-year-old boy with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated support needs.
This young person demonstrates traits commonly associated with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), including repetitive behaviours such as turning lights on and off and walking in and out of doorways. He also experiences sensory processing challenges, particularly around textures, and has a developmental delay that affects his communication and understanding.
He is under a medical routine for constipation, managed daily with paediatric Laxido, and takes Melatonin at night to support sleep. Please note: Staff are not required to administer any medication.
Role Requirements:

Support is required every Sunday from 11am to 2pm, primarily to facilitate community outings and leisure activities.

The successful applicant must be a driver with a clean driving licence and hold business insurance to transport the child safely.

You must have previous professional experience supporting children with similar disabilities, including ASD, OCD traits, sensory processing disorders, and developmental delay.
