The Sous Chef role is a hands on one, to assist in leading a dedicated team of chefs and kitchen support staff. The development of the team, consistency/quality of services, and food are key responsibilities of the role. They also are part of the ethos of this established, growing, respected company to keep a head of the competition in the marketplace.
In particular we are looking for;
* successful experience as a CDP or Junior Sous Chef in a similar venue, or equivalent role
* experience of managing, motivating and training a team of chefs
* budget management experience in terms of food and labour costs control
* knowledge and understanding of sourcing excellent local and seasonal produce
* previous experience of delivering cost effective menus
* HACCP knowledge
* Strong organisational skills
* Be passionate about delivering excellent dishes to our guests.
Previous experience working in a busy kitchen team for at least five years.
