Responsibilities
* Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in and check-out procedures
* Manage reservations efficiently using the hotel management system
* Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services to guests
* Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
* Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and maintained
* Process payments accurately and issue receipts or invoices as required
* Address guest concerns promptly, escalating issues when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction
* Maintain a tidy and organised reception area at all times
* Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety and security for all guests and staff
Skills
* Multilingual or Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse range of guests
* Excellent phone etiquette with clear communication skills
* Previous experience in hotel reception or guest services is essential.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Knowledge of Opera software reservation systems is essential
* Friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional appearance
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and customer service excellence
