Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK, home to iconic brands such as Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti, Brooklyn, Hobgoblin, and Wainwright. Our soft drink brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango, and London Essence, along with license rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK.
With 6 production facilities and 16 logistics depots across the UK, we are committed to our people's success. We are recruiting a Supply Planner, reporting to the Planning Manager, to play a key role in our growth. The responsibilities include:
* Transforming the demand plan into a realistic 12-week production plan, optimizing plant utilization.
* Monitoring availability against demand, proactively managing out-of-stocks, and assessing the impact of promotions and competitor activities.
* Supporting queries regarding product availability.
* Coordinating brewing requirements and liaising with relevant teams to maximize efficiency.
* Adjusting supply plans based on forecast variances and monitoring stock levels at key sites.
* Acting as the liaison between production, supply, brewing, and logistics teams.
* Generating cost savings through lean inventory management, economic ordering, and waste reduction.
* Participating in daily and weekly planning meetings.
* Maintaining system master data such as BOMs, MRP data, and planning parameters.
Experience and Key Attributes:
* Experience in a similar role within food, FMCG, or pharmaceutical sectors.
* Extensive SAP experience.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize under pressure.
* Proficiency in Word, advanced Excel, PowerPoint.
* Excellent analytical and numeracy skills with high attention to detail.
* Strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
* Results-driven with a sense of personal accountability.
* Team-oriented with experience working collaboratively.
