Role: Service Manager
Location: Torfaen
Hours: 37. Your shift pattern will include weekends and sleep-ins.
Salary: £32,669 per annum, plus sleep-in shifts at £60 per night, and paid travel expenses at 45p per mile.
Contract: Permanent

What you’ll be doing:
As Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for three services, managing the day-to-day operations and proactively developing the service. You’ll provide motivational leadership and direction to your team, enabling them to deliver quality, person-centred support. Building positive relationships with stakeholders and embodying our vision and values will be key.
You’ll review support requirements regularly, including service delivery and support plans, progress logs, and risk assessments, following person-centred and relationship-centred Active Support principles. Managing a team of support workers, you’ll oversee all aspects of team management and development, encouraging creative problem-solving and growth.
Your primary focus will be on achieving the highest levels of support and independence for the people we support to make everyday remarkable.
Who we are looking for:
* Experience supporting people with learning difficulties in a social care setting.
* Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care (or actively working towards).
* A caring nature dedicated to supporting others to live enriched lives and fulfill their potential.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to influence others.
* Knowledge of the Care Council for Wales Code of Practice.
* Flexibility to work shifts and provide cover as required.
* Access to a personal vehicle and willingness to use it for transporting clients, with appropriate business insurance (we pay 45p per mile).
* A driver’s license and willingness to travel for meetings and training.
