We are pleased to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced clinician to enter education in a new and exciting role. We are seeking individuals who wish to become a Divisional Clinical Educator and support the professional development of their colleagues with the delivery of our new Statutory and Mandatory Education portfolio across the Trust.
The role of a Divisional Clinical Educator is a new and important role within EMAS, as we strengthen our essential education portfolio to support staff development as we expand to a more division-based delivery model.
Primarily based at Oak House Education Centre and supporting the Lincolnshire division, the successful applicant will be supported by a designated Senior Clinical Educator within the EMAS Education team, in additional to regional Operations Leadership teams. You must have a commitment to your own and others professional development and demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adaptable in your work.
It is extremely important that as a Divisional Clinical Educator, you work closely with the regional Operations team, administrators and EMAS Education department, and you will be required to support, contribute to, and deliver education and clinical practice development as part of this role across regions. You must therefore be able to maintain currency in clinical practice and provide an operational response in accordance with your clinical registration.
Main duties of the job
To take responsibility as part of the Organisational Learning and Education schedule for the local and regional delivery of statutory and mandatory education and other learning within the wider EMAS portfolio. To work in collaboration with leadership and managerial colleagues to provide assessment and clinical supervision opportunities that will contribute to the improvement in the quality of patient care and clinical outcomes. To supply specialist educational support and guidance to Operational Managers and their team members in order to improve the dissemination of learning within the region and facilitate the continuing professional development of staff
