1. Maintain the venue and its facilities in excellent condition and ensure all meeting room and public area are set to Company standards.
2. Ensure that the venue complies with all aspect of Health and Safety and that all staff are trained to the minimum legal requirement.
3. Provide professional, friendly, and proactive customer service in a customer-focused, standards-driven role.
Facilities & Operations:
4. Perform routine housekeeping duties.
5. Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
6. Clean, collect, and remove rubbish and trash throughout the venue.
7. Perform routine cleaning services such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing glass throughout the venue, including hallways, lobbies, lounges, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
8. Ensure security procedures are adhered to, particularly concerning closing the venue each day.
9. Service and tidy all meeting rooms at break times, including lunch.
10. Implement a deep cleaning schedule and carry out quality checks.
11. Maintain a stock control system for cleaning supplies.
12. Undertake any additional tasks that senior management deems appropriate, such as helping with the dish pit if needed.
13. Support the Conference Service Manager, ensuring meeting rooms meet high standards for all events.
14. Ensure effective communication between all departments regarding client services.
15. Participate in daily and weekly rota meetings.
Health & Safety:
16. Represent the venue as a health and safety officer/fire officer, ensuring mandatory checks, fire alarm tests, and evacuation drills are carried out per safety regulations.
17. Participate in monthly health and safety meetings.
General:
18. Be available for staff briefings and company events, including attendance at the company.
19. Be available for weekend work when necessary.
20. Undertake any reasonable ad hoc duties requested by the venue team.
