Working Hours: 0800-1700 Monday to Friday

Role Overview:
To learn the skills needed to carry out planned preventative maintenance and the fault diagnosis and repair on a variety of mechanical / electrical plant and equipment including:
1. Electrical building tests
2. Electrical / Mechanical plant and equipment fault finding
3. Refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance and fault finding
4. Steam and has heating and ventilation equipment
5. Industrial boilers and associated pumps and controls
6. Domestic hot water and water distribution systems
7. Steam distribution systems
8. Compressed air systems
9. Condition monitoring and thermography
10. General plumbing
Person Specification
Who you'll be:
11. Studying (or have qualifications) in Maths, English and a Science or craft based subject to a minimum grade C
12. Articulate, numerate and IT literate
13. Reasonable understanding of FM and Building Services Engineering
14. Be able to demonstrate the ability to identify health and safety and environmental issues
15. Have good communication skills
16. Be resilient under pressure and be able to converse confidently with staff, suppliers and customers at all levels
