Student Development Manager - BBA Program (Maternity Cover, 12 months fixed term) Job Title: Student Development Manager Reports To: Senior Director of Student Development The Person Are you passionate about working with international students to support them in their education? The Opportunity The Student Development Manager role consists of three main parts: the Student Development Coach role, managing a small portfolio of students (responsibilities outlined below), managing a small team of coaches, and working inter-departmentally across the wider campus to manage and develop processes relevant to the academic program. The Student Development Coach supports undergraduate students through their program. In this role, the Student Development Coach provides holistic guidance on students' academic progress as well as the opportunities available during the program to build experience through on campus and off campus activities. As the student progresses through the program, the coach supports the student to reflect on learnings, skills, and experiences to begin the process of career or vocational selection. This process ultimately culminates in the final year when the student takes the next steps on the path to post graduate work (job search, post graduated internship) or to further graduate level education (post graduate degree). The Student Development Coach role consists of three major parts. 50% of your time in the role will be allocated to actively coaching our students. Additionally, Student Development Coaches are expected to maintain thorough records of coaching students, as well as delivering workshops both as part of the academic curriculum and extracurricular activities. The Student Development Coach is the single point of contact dedicated to supporting the student to maximize their learning and development during their time at Hult. In support of this goal, the coach will actively engage students in owning their personal and professional development while also helping the students to understand the program, adjust to life as student, adapt to another country and culture, and support them through interpersonal conflicts and challenges that may arise during the program.
