The school provides education for secondary students from Year 7 - 13. All children who attend this school have an EHCP. Children at the school have a range of complex learning needs, social and emotional difficulties and challenging behaviours. Many pupils have a diagnosis of autism and/or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Some pupils have moderate learning difficulties or speech, language and communication needs. About the Role - Head of Maths - Barnsley, South Yorkshire * You will be a well-qualified, highly motivated secondary teacher with an undergraduate degree and teaching degree in Maths. You must have recent experience of teaching Maths in Secondary schools following the British curriculum. Prior experience working in an independent school or Special Needs school is not essential, but will be beneficial. Staff do receive training.
